Staff BYoD

Staff members can access the BYOD(Bring Your Own Device) by choosing the wifi ssid LGS-BYOD. For most newer devices (Windows 8, i-Pad, & android) all that is needed to join is the same username and password that you use to log into your school computer. Windows XP and Windows 7 laptops are capable of joining but require many more steps to be able to join.

The BYOD access will be on the same internet content filter system and will be monitored just like the rest of the network. All staff members need to be mindful that the school is not responsible for personal devices. Please limit your connectivity to one device each. Bandwidth will be capped on the BYOD so that these devices do not cause usage(bandwidth) problems for school technology equipment (during online testing this cap may need to be lowered).
